Hi! I’m Margot, an NYC shop-a-holic who refuses to pay full-price… ever!
I love to shop. I hate to over-pay. As an NYC resident that overpays for rent (and just about all other day-to-day needs in this city), that doesn’t make a ton of sense.
But hear me out…
Good or bad, style has always been important to me. I love having just the right pieces to complete an outfit, and having them for a LONG time. I’m not sure if this is a hidden talent or just means that I have too much time on my hands, but I can recall when and where I bought or was gifted just about each and every item of clothing I own… and the cost. I’m not a die-hard trend-seeker or a wear-it-once kind of gal… I just love classic (and comfortable!) pieces that I can wear over and over without worrying about whether or not they’ve gone out of style or if a hole has been burned in the item or my wallet.
If you’re looking for the latest edgy trends at prices only the top 1% can afford, this blog probably isn’t for you. If you’re looking to find new ways to shop & save on gorgeous, classic items and how to restyle them, then you’ve found the right place!
My goal is to show you that paying full price for high quality should never be a challenge & I hope to help answer the question everyone has but no one wants to ask:
“Where did you buy that and how do I pay less for it?”
