Let’s Get Physical

Just about every Sunday I make a plan to do my week differently.  To get up earlier, do a serious workout each day so I’ll carry the habit into the weekend and eat only the healthiest things I can put my hands on (and keep the rosé all daying to a minimum).  Truth is, I absolutely hate working out and, in my opinion, ice cream is like water and should be consumed each day (current flavor of the week? Mint chocolate chip!).  So, outside of the health benefits of said workouts, I turn to comfy and stylish workout gear to help motivate me to get moving!

I’m a firm believer in comfort first, but I do think style takes a close second in importance, even when you’re just looking for something to sweat it out in (or land on your couch in, en route to said sweat-it-out sesh … we’ve all been there).  The more pulled together you feel, the more likely you’ll want to get moving and show off your look, and then your workout moves.

For years I was an on & off fan of Gap’s line of athletic wear – they’d have some cute styles, but the fabrics weren’t anything to write home about, or if they were, the prints wouldn’t be ideal.  Recently though, GapFit has totally turned a corner and its quickly become my go-to for both actual workout gear and athleisure (i.e. the “Oh trust me, I did a super tough workout, but just so happen to have my makeup and hairstyle in tact… oh yeah and I never sweat” look). Other than their ultra-soft, super cozy, breathable fabrics and great looking prints & styles, the best part about the line is . . . there’s almost always a fantastic sale going on!
